Maths worksheets by year group

Twenty problems per year with a full answer key, from ages five to thirteen. Each sheet says what that school year actually covers and what to watch for. Years are numbered as England numbers them, with the nearest Indian and American equivalents named on every sheet, because the same maths is labelled differently in each country.

Year 1 maths worksheets: England ages 5 to 6. Nearest elsewhere: Class 1 in India and Grade 1 in the US, both about a year older. Covers counting forwards and backwards within 100 and number bonds to 10 and then to 20.
Year 2 maths worksheets: England ages 6 to 7. Nearest elsewhere: Class 2 in India and Grade 2 in the US, both about a year older. Covers addition and subtraction within 100 and the 2, 5 and 10 times tables.
Year 3 maths worksheets: England ages 7 to 8. Nearest elsewhere: Class 3 in India and Grade 3 in the US, both about a year older. Covers the 3, 4 and 8 times tables and addition and subtraction of three-digit numbers.
Year 4 maths worksheets: England ages 8 to 9. Nearest elsewhere: Class 4 in India and Grade 4 in the US, both about a year older. Covers all times tables up to 12 x 12 and multiplying and dividing by 10 and 100.
Year 5 maths worksheets: England ages 9 to 10. Nearest elsewhere: Class 5 in India and Grade 5 in the US, both about a year older. Covers multiplying two-digit and three-digit numbers and dividing by a single digit, with remainders.
Year 6 maths worksheets: England ages 10 to 11. Nearest elsewhere: Class 6 in India and Grade 6 in the US, both about a year older. Covers all four operations with larger numbers and order of operations, known as bodmas or pemdas.
Year 7 maths worksheets: England ages 11 to 12. Nearest elsewhere: Class 7 in India and Grade 7 in the US, both about a year older. Covers negative numbers in all four operations and powers, roots and index notation.
Year 8 maths worksheets: England ages 12 to 13. Nearest elsewhere: Class 8 in India and Grade 8 in the US, both about a year older. Covers solving linear equations and working confidently with indices and roots.
