Patterns in the 15 times table

  • The answers alternate between ending in 5 and ending in 0.
  • Every answer is the ten times answer plus half of it.

The easiest way to learn it

Multiply by ten, then add half of that. For 15 x 6, ten sixes are 60, half of 60 is 30, and 60 plus 30 is 90.

15 x 7 is 105, the first answer in this table to pass one hundred, which throws children who are expecting a two-digit answer.
